Digging up the Iris Bed Part 1

I started digging up the the Iris Bed next to where I like to park today. It was more work then I thought it would be partly because I had to stop a lot to herd the ducks or daughter back into the back yard.

While moving stuff around so I could dig up the flower garden, this large Gardner snake was slithering around.

This is the largest milk thistle that I have ever seen.

I am digging this flower bed up so I can put rock here and can park here.

The ducks were happily running around.

While I was digging and moving stuff, I found lots of snail to feed to the ducks. They love them.

Down under the light in the middle of the green house is where the duckies sleep and stay during the day when they have to be in there.

This beautiful rose is along the back side of the garage.

The ducks in their (and Jes's) pool.

My Mommy stopped by so I took a break from my work.

I filled the wheel barrow up twice with large rocks and bricks that were around this little garden. The box is getting full of iris bulbs. I haven't even started to collect the other bulbs in this garden.

I moved the two tomato plants out of the green house so they can see the sun!

I still have a lot to do, but I got a good start!

.
Jes, of course, wanted to swing after I was ready to sit down. She never wants to go inside. She always says: "Outside? Mommy! Outside!"

The view from my lawn swing. It's so lovely. This is our little piece of Heaven!

Bath Day!

The duckies weren't sure what was going on at first but quickly adapted to the new situation. After all, they are ducks.

After they swam a while, the water was not so pretty.

Jes wanted to pet them!

Happily eating and pruning themselves in their pool.

Jes and the duckies.

They put up with her.
The duckies, trying to avoid the baby...little miss.

Jes and I went for a walk earlier in the day which led to her being a bit red in the cheeks and shoulders.

Duckies

The ride home....

Their first morning in their new digs.

Jessica trying to catch one in her lap.

Holding duckies.

There is a duckie between her lap and she is trying to feed it a daisy.

I had put the ducks in between my legs so I could keep them contained, but then she had to too.

At first I had a white over shirt on until I decided that Duck Poop probably doesn't wash out as well as I would like.

Duckies in the legs!

Holding the duckies. She loves them.

Pointing at the duck in my lap and trying to pet it.

Holding a duck...she loves them so.
